This technology introduces a way to develop customized patterns that can enable apparel manufacturers to createbetter fitting and affordable clothing for selected demographic groups based on statistical analysis of 3-D shape scanning data. Both clothing and shoes can be mass produced using this invention for a near-custom fit at a mass production cost.
